Gyprock Started

I had a lovely present waiting for me at the house today....gyrocked walls, and lots of them.
They have almost finished the walls, still the ceilings to go.
I took a few quick snaps as evidence, as I couldn't quite believe it myself.
Its been a long time coming, but we officially have internal walls!

Insulation Action

As the title suggests today saw the start of the wall insulation go in. The external walls were complete today and tomorrow the internal walls will turn pink as well!

With the entire house being insulated I am keen to see how well the house copes with both the heat and cold.

It was great to turn up at the block and see multiply trades working at once. It felt like progress!
The external plumbing (down pipes connecting to the water tanks, sewerage and anything else like that) was also being worked on today.

Hi Guys

Every time I check the blog I can't believe how long it has been since my last post. 

Time is sure passing quickly with what seems to be little progress.

The lasted update is:

Plumbing rough in done

Internal Framing complete

Electrical Pre-wiring done

Construction site cleaned 

Now waiting for the gyprocking & insulation to begin. Some gyprock boards and insulation arrived on site on Friday so fingers crossed Monday it will get underway.
