Finally An Update!

Hi everyone. It's been a long time between posts.
We have a roof - well almost!

Today was a great day out a the block. The roof sheets started to go up. It's been a really long time coming.
The roof frame was a massive job and wasn't without issues. The main one was the so called 'computer glitch' from the company who made the roof trusses and frames. Thankfully M was able fix it all up but it took a lot of extra time.

Here are some pictures taken today:

Anyone for the dusty roof look!

The roof is a Colourbond colour called  Monument.
It looks a bit darker in the photos than it is in real life. It a strange colour. It's not black, but sort of a charcoal with a dark blue in it.
We are really happy with the colour and can't wait to see it finished.

  1. Great blog, great house, we have a colour bond rood as well, what made you decide to go with colour bond and not tiles?

  2. Hi edscl

I'm not sure exactly why we went for a colourbond roof. We never really considered tiles. We like the look of the tin roof, that is probably why. Thanks for following along on our journey :-)
